This is a rail-mounted regulator. The 7.4L L29 also uses a cooler-mounted regulator (861126A1) simultaneously — verify your complete fuel-system architecture. The 496 Mag / 8.1L MIE later production may use a different regulator (892681) — verify production period.
This rail regulator applies to the 7.4L MPI L29 (802630T01) and 496 Mag / 8.1L MIE earlier production (881692001). Later 496/8.1L production may use 892681 instead. Verify your exact engine model, production period, serial number, and existing OEM part number before ordering.
