Motor Man identifies the individual injector marking as 17104288 and supplies the replacement as a matched pair of 2 TBI injectors. The following application rows are based on Mercury/MerCruiser OEM where-used data. Serial ranges are exact as supplied — do not generalise across variants.

Confirm the full engine model designation from your data plate — for example, 4.3L EFI (GEN+), 5.7L EFI, or 350 MAG EFI. EFI/TBI and MPI engines of the same displacement use different injector systems.
Confirm the model year from your engine data plate or registration documents. Serial ranges are year-specific for EFI/TBI applications.
Locate the serial number on your engine data plate. Serial ranges are the most reliable way to confirm which injector kit was factory-fitted to your specific engine.
If you have the OEM kit number (e.g. 852956A1) or the individual injector marking (e.g. 17104288) from the original injector or a service manual, this is the most direct identification method.
Confirm the throttle-body configuration — single TBI, dual TBI, or multi-port. TBI injectors are not interchangeable with MPI injectors even on the same engine displacement.
