Visual Identification

The 861260T injector is identified by a yellow identification band. Visual appearance should be used together with engine model, OEM part number and serial range verification — not as the sole identification method. Always confirm fitment using your OEM number and engine serial range.

Compare the injector removed from your engine with the identification views shown here. Visual similarity alone does not establish fitment. Verify the OEM part number, engine application, and serial-number range before ordering.

What's Included

Package contents will be confirmed once the replacement product is sourced and verified.

How to Verify Fitment

Step 1.Locate your engine data plate and confirm the exact engine model designation. Verified applications include 454 MAG MPI, 454 MAG MPI Horizon MIE (1999–2001), 350 Magnum MPI (1998–2001), MX 6.2L MPI (1998–2001), 502 Magnum MPI (1999–2001), and 8.2L MPI (1999–2001). All confirmed by Mercury Marine.
Step 2.Record your engine serial number. For 454 MAG MPI: 0L085400–0M024999. For 454 MAG MPI Horizon MIE: 0L086050–0L674000. Serial ranges for 350 Magnum MPI, MX 6.2L MPI, 502 Magnum MPI and 8.2L MPI are verification in progress — confirm using your OEM part number and service manual.
Step 3.Compare your existing OEM part number — from the original injector or service manual — to 861260T or its predecessor 861260. If you have the manufacturer number, confirm it matches IWP-069 (Weber / Magneti Marelli).
Step 4.If you are uncertain about fitment, contact us before ordering. We would rather help you confirm the correct part than process a return.
